Biography

Galvan’s work straddles the boundaries of two and three-dimensional art, he focuses on the production of and perspective. He has participated in workshops with artists such as- Ismael Guardado: alternative prints, Shinzaburo Takeda: Japanese prints, Gilberto Aceves Navarro: drawing, Alberto Castro: Leñero: painting and installation.
The work is informed by current social-cultural events, perceptions, experiences and their interpretations of those subjects are translated into their work. She has been an active participant in his communities’ government as Municipal Director of education and culture.

She has had about thirty exhibitions, both individual and collective both in Mexico and the US. She has also helped coordinated about 60 other exhibitions. His work has been published in many different places such as- Lazos Verdes: libro de la Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, Color y Palabra en la Mujer Chihuahuense: libro de la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua as well as others.
